Kahlida Lloyd is the founder of the faith-based racial reconciliation nonprofit Mission Reconcile, which exists to connect single-race churches (i.e. black churches with white churches) to have conversations about race and to form relationships. Kahlida is also an attorney and holds degrees in Communications, Political Science, and Law.
Danielle Blevins is also a lawyer and a journalist by trade in addition to her role with Mission Reconcile.
Kahlida and Danielle join us to talk about their work in New Orleans and Washington, D.C., what kinds of obstacles they face, and what continually motivates them to do this work.
